Every photograph begins with listening.

Giulia Maffioli, also known as Giulia Hepburn, is a London-based photographer working across fashion, portraiture, and commercial projects.

At the core of her practice is a belief that photography is first and foremost a relationship, a space built on trust, listening, and presence.
Rather than simply creating images, Giulia collaborates closely with the people she photographs, shaping visuals that reflect identity, emotion, and intention. Her approach is intuitive and relational, creating a space where people feel seen, comfortable, and free to be themselves.

With over a decade of experience, her work spans editorial, e-commerce, and campaign photography, always guided by storytelling and a human-centered approach.

Her photographs have been published in PhotoVogue and Glamour Italy, exhibited internationally, and featured in Terrific Fashion by Rizzoli. In 2025, Hypebae named her among the “Cool & Queer Photographers to Follow”.

Alongside digital work, she often incorporates film photography as a way to slow down the process and reconnect with intention.

Based in London, she is open to collaborations in the UK and internationally.
